Onurair Virtual Airlines Pilot Recruitment Conditions


1.   Applicant must be over 17 years old.

2.   Applicant must be a registered member of Vatsim.

3.   Applicant must accept the regulations and rules of Vatsim and TRvACC and execute the rules correctly.

4.   Applicant must have minimum 150 flight hours registered on the system.

           4a. The applicants have no “150 flight hours registered on the system" , will be directed to the training department of Onurair VA Training departmen and with a “T” appendix at the end of their callsign, they are allowed to fly in the domestic flights.

           4b. For these pilots mentioned above, it is obliged to participate the training program given by the training department of Onurair VA Training Department.

           4c. Determination of the missing pilots who have “T” appendix in the training sessions causes the expulsion from Onurair Virtual Airlines.

           4d. Without removing the “T” appendix by the Onurair Virtual Airlines training department, they must fly with “T” appendix callsigns.

5.   Applicant must have enough English language ability for trainings and flights.

6.   Applicant must not be expelled from any Virtual Airline registered in Vatsim Platform due to discipline punishment, bad behavior or perturbation.


7.   During the application process, all information given by candidates must be accurate and are due to inspection if needed. Flying with Onurair Virtual Airlines is not a right, it’s a privilege, and therefore there is no flexibility in these rules.

8.   Applicant must accept that in Onurair Virtual Airlines there are only the planes from Onurair’s real life fleet and purpose of Onurair Virtual Airlines is to represent Onurair in real life and must acknowledge the virtual aviation hobby as a “simulation” rather than a “game”. “As real as it gets” philosophy is aimed here.

9.   Pilots who use Onurair Acars program and use a different call code in Vatsim Platform will directly be expelled from Onurair Virtual Airlines.





All Onurair Virtual pilots must have the;


•   Ability to fly straight and to maintain the given altitude and heading.
•   Ability to perform visual, VOR and ILS approaches without using autopilot.
•   Ability to fly under Instrumented Flight Rules (Without using any visual reference).
•   Ability to read and understand airport/enroute charts..
•   Ability to read and understand Metar data.
•   Ability to communicate with the Air Traffic Controller in English.
•   Ability to fill and execute Vatsim Flight Plans.
